All ready!.

I think we're set to go. Presents are wrapped and under the tree, we've got mistletoe and holly, fake snow-spray decorations on the windows, smoked salmon for entrée and a nice big turkey, Christmas pudding all made with brandy sauce waiting and jelly cakes just like Lily wanted from Henry Bear's Christmas. We've even got Nonno Piero here to share it all with us. The only thing we don't have is snow! But you can't have everything, I guess... Merry Christmas everyone!

The turkey is in the oven, browning up nicely; the table is set for a celebration (even if there is just the two of us)and although we don't have a christmas pudding this year, we have a delicious fresh fruit salad made with all the best fruit we could find (peaches, nectarines, kiwi fruit, lychees, cherries, grapes, mango, orange and banana, and I nearly forgot, some blackberries) to be served with Maggie Beer's gold label vanilla ice cream. If we're still hungry after that we'll have mince pies and brandy sauce, chocolates and maybe some turkish delight.
We're looking forward to a skype call anytime from 8.00 am on.
Have a wonderful day.

That sounds delicious. We have been a bit minimalistic this christmas. Got to catch up on all the fantastic blog photos you have posted. All the way back from the christmas pudding post. Beautiful snow photos. You could start your own line of post cards. Hugs to all MIMI
