St Jorioz and beyond

Family days have been few and far between this summer. But we made up for it today when we hired bikes and a chariot and rode off to St Jorioz for a picnic lunch. We also had a swim (despite the very cold water) and then kept riding. I suspect we were almost at the end of the lake when we turned around and headed back (we were inland on the bike path so we couldn't see it). The kids loved riding in the chariot. They talked, played and sang songs - I've never seen them so well behaved! Despite David and I getting a bit sunburnt, it was a really relaxing day. Really need to add a bike to my shopping list...

"The swamps of hell" - we didnt venture too far in!

looks like a great day. We used to take our dogs with us to work in a "chariot", sure makes it a bit more of a workout pulling one of those things.

Tu avait raison Stéphanie. Mais, au moins, le temps est mieux aujourd'hui :)

Le Tigre - it is gorgeous here but its a lake not the ocean! I'm starting to miss swimming in the surf :)

Juicy Life - you will fit in well here in France, then, of course! I see lots of dogs in handbags, though none in a chariot yet :)
